The last activity on the agenda for NT Youth Week in Nhulunbuy will be a Colour Fun Run, open to everyone, across all ages. Come to Hindle Oval 2 on Friday the 14th of April for some tunes, a free sausage sizzle and of course, a colour fun run. Make sure to wear some clothes you don't mind getting colourful!

Come to the Town Hall on Thursday 13th of April to have a stab at winning a Streetfighter Tournament on the largest screen in Nhulunbuy! The day will also feature a chance to play a PS4 on a 3 metre wide screen. Come between 10AM and 2PM for free entry and a free sausage sizzle. Please bear in mind that this event is open only to High School aged students.

For NT Youth Week, the Nhulunbuy Youth Council is proud to announce a collaboration with the Nhulunbuy Corporation! Come to the Nhulunbuy Aquatic Centre on Wednesday the 12th of April from 10AM to 2PM for free entry, free pizza and a go on the inflatables. All are welcome!

Organised by the Yothu Yindi foundation as a celebration of Yolnju culture, the Garma Festival is an opportunity to highlight the plight of Aboriginal people, and a chance for two-way learning between the Yolnju and peoples from all over the world.

NAIDOC Week celebrations are held around the country each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
A collaborative event not to be missed thanks to the Nhulunbuy Corporation, Rio Tinto, ALPA, Anglicare, Woolworths, Miwatj, Rirratjingu, Gumatj, Dhimurru, Gove FM, Sodexo, Laynhapuy, Datjala and the Gove Peninsula Surf Life Saving Club.

Territory Day Celebrations are back for 2021 and it will be the best ever seen. East Journey will be Live on Stage at Hindle Oval 1, followed by the Gove FM Territory Soundtrack sync'd to the spectacular Fireworks and Lighting display. This will be followed by DJ Bails playing a set with latest and greatest for all to enjoy. Food Vendors, Bouncy Castles and Face Painting will be in attendance.
Definitely an event not to be missed.

Northern Territory Youth Week (or NTYW) is an annual celebration of young people across the Territory and involves a range of fun and exciting events and activities. NTYW 2021 will run from 9-18 April 2021 and the theme will be announced shortly.

The inaugural silent disco is coming up at the CAT Shed on the 9th April.
This event is FREE and Open to the following ages and session times.
3.30pm - 4pm - Under 10 Year Olds
4.15pm - 4.45pm - 10- 14 Year Olds
5pm - 5.30pm - Under 10 Year Olds
5.45pm - 6.15pm - 10 - 14 Year Olds
6.30pm - 7.30pm - 14+

Youth Nights @ the CAT Shed

Nhulunbuy Youth Council members meet on a monthly basis usually between 3pm to 4pm on a Friday.
